Uncle Raj's Place - Seri Kedah Gardeniaa

During the hunt for Homestay available at Sintok, Changlun and Hosba last week, a signboard of Hosba Valley Resort pointing toward a jungle bring upon my curiosity. However, I decide to take a turn and follow the path to find the mystical place. The further I go, the thicker the forest, and the clearer I can hear the sound of nature. This makes me even puzzled who would build a resort in a jungle? In that exact moment, I see the signboard written Seri Kedah Gardeniaa. Fuh!! It was really a relief,  I found that place. 

On the first step to the lobby, I was warmly greeted by Uncle Raj, asking me would like to go to the swimming pool. At that moment, i thought who care about swimming pool since UUM had an Olympic standard swimming pool. I am here looking for nice comfy, and pieces of quiet place to relax my overloaded research head. I was so relaxed and enjoy the sound and  the green of nature around. Let share some of the Green and Blue of the place with you.

In the moment, I walk in a small lane, I heard sound of children splashing water. So, that must the swimming pool Uncle Raj said and Wow.. it did surprise me... that swimming pool was huge, nice and clean. If i bring short with me that day, I will just into the pool immediately.

Proper Dinner - Kg. Siam Jitra

After feel out of choices for food in Bukit Kachi, i suddenly get an invitation for dinner from my fellow Kelantan junior. 

Junior: “Halo a ko (mean brother in Hokkien), long time no see. you free tonight? Let go for dinner at Jitra.”
Me: “ Why so suddenly invite me for dinner nih?”
since my birthday is coming soon (hope fully this not another surprise birthday party *sigh*).
Junior: “ no lar. Just long time didn’t eat outside already mah! OK ar! we rent a car”.
ME: “Ok lar.”
since i also crave for pork. haha…

Set sail for Jitra at 7.30pm. This time the target  is a Siamese Sea food restaurant at Jitra. This another popular place (beside Restaurant 5 Utara) for Chinese UUM students to have their dinner when came to Jitra. After had the seat, the waiter came forward (lucky not so many people that night) and ask for order. 

ME: “ got pork ar?”
Waiter: “sorry, our shop is halal. no pork!”
ME: “aiyo… then give me Tomyam and … …”

There are 5 of us, 3 girls 2 guys. and we ordered this:

Tom Yam

Lemon Chicken

Mix Kerabu

 
Although feel a bit disappointed NO Pork…^^. But this meal did fulfill my desire for complete Dinner dishes : Tom yam, Chicken, Vegetable, Kerabu + a jug of Drink = RM 69.

Dinner In Jitra, Restaurant 5 Utara.

Looking some place to eat while you up north? this is one place you may want to stop by to have a great Thai dinner while you are loafing around UUM. (erm.. the correct way to say this is.. here is a place for UUM students to have their dinner after came out for Jitra Mall or cinema when they are BORED by the UUM food.) The place i am talking about is this restaurant – “Restaurant 5 Utara”. The location is easy to find when you are in Jitra, it is just in front of Jitra Maybank. I bring UUM kelate Junior for dinner not long ago. Enough with the talking, we are there for SIX person. These is what we had that day.
